Oscar Robertson
Wilt
Kareem
Hakeem
MJ
Bird

Shaq
Karl Malone
Tim Duncan
(I went outside the box a little, on a couple of them, but I figured I would mix things up... these are not in order, btw.)

I may go with Havlicek over Cousy. For my #10, I may have to go with Karl Malone.

Tim Duncan is one of the best centers or 4's whatever you want to call him ever. He is so underrated it's not even funny.

If you consider him a 4, it's him and Malone at the top and no one is close.

The Stilt

Someone that only played 2 years could not be top 10.

I'm not necessarily picking a team but 10 great players.
Magic
Jordan
Bird
Wilt
O. Robertson
Duncan
Kareem (you know the pilot)
Bill Russell
Moses Malone
Isaiah
I think Kobe has the talent, but I don't like the attitudes of these current players.
Karl Malone never won a championship and couldn't jump out of his shoes. As for Dr. J...you know what J didn't stand for? Jump shot. No thanks, he is overrated, kind of like Dominique Wilkins who also couldn't shoot worth a darn. They are great players but don't make my top 10.

Wilkins may not have been able to shoot...but he did end up 9th all-time in scoring. That's pretty good considering he couldn't shoot.

In no order:
Bob Pettit
Oscar Robertson
George Mikan
Bill Russell
Larry Bird
Magic Johnson
Michael Jordan
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Wilt Chamberlin
Shaquille O'Neal
Elgin Baylor (I know it's 11, but there is a tie in there!)
Tim Duncan, Kobe, Mail Man, Mutombo, and Iverson don't deserve to be on this list. Tim Duncan is so OVERrated it's not even funny. David Robsinon, Manu, and Tony Parker has carried his butt to the nba title every single year he has won it. Is he a great player? Yes, but not even in the same breath as the players above. He's not a clutch player, and I don't think a player who isn't clutch deserves to be in the running. His true position is center, in the lineup he may have a PF beside his name, but his game obviously makes him a center. Is he a top 5 center? No, that would be Bill Russell, Shaq, Kareem, George Mikan, and Wilt Chamberlain, and I would make an argument that Bob Pettit was a better center than Tim Duncan. If he can't even rank in the top 5 at his REAL position, then he shouldn't deserve to be top 10 all time.

Players who get in as much legal trouble as he did and are considered a cancer for most of their careers dont deserve to be considered for top 10.

Tim Duncan is prone to bouts of being soft just like KG is known for being at times, and Duncan doesn't provide anywhere close to the amount of leadership as KG. I'd take KG over TD any day of the week.

I should have put Elgin Baylor on my list.
