Sounds like our buddy Kyle threw them a bone, even though they aren't DI yet:

Presbyterian College won’t receive full Division I status until the 2011-2012 academic season. Until then, the Blue Hose will at least have something to play for in most sports.

The biggest news to come from the recent Big South spring meetings was in regards to PC, which will be eligible to compete for regular-season championships in all sports except football beginning next season.

wait, does mean just regular season championships? Or does this mean they can compete in the tournaments now?

That's a nice gesture by the league. It gives them something to play while not affecting playoff participation for anyone else.

But it could affect playoff positioning for other teams because their games count in league standings.

How about the "Quiz Bowl" you guys are so fond of? Are we eligible in that?

Eligible yes, but coming from a school where a head coach is dumbfounded by the fact that a Gatorade Dispenser dispenses Gatorade, I'm not sure it'll matter.

Actually, kilts...it DOES say a lot about our faculty...

...and ou need to ask Cider about how the team TWO years ago fared against the faculty!

The difference between this year's team and last year's team is that our very own Fumble left the faculty squad and joined the good guys, and he even made the all tournament team at the College Bowl regionals at VA Tech where we finished 6th and even beat Davidson.
