I am not one for hyperbole... I hate it when sports commentators bloviate about how some minor event is the greatest win or scandal to ever hit the sporting world or heck, history.

But seriously... And I'm writing this on Saturday... You guys NEED to watch Tiger Woods tomorrow as he guns for yet another major. This guy is getting ready for one for the ages. Seriously, generations from now we will probably saying things like "Babe Ruth was the Tiger Woods of baseball".

It's unbelievable what that guy can do. He's just on another level. That back 9 was disgusting.

17 and 18 just unbelievable...gets a birdie on 18 after two horrible shots...then plays 18 to perfection.

Seriously guys...this will be talked about for a LONG LONG time

It's unreal what he did yesterday and today....Sunday is going to be unreal!

That birdie putt he made from about 25 feet was absolutely sick. It curved about 5 feet to the right. I've never seen a golf crowd so pumped, either.

i know people will argue this all day long...I just can't call golfer athletes...i play golf...and i can play a round of golf and be fine...but since i am so out of shape if i play a pickup game of basketball, i am winded after 5 minutes....but Tiger...he is one heck of a competitor and its amazing to see

I was thinking the exact same thing as I was watching it last night. And I never watch golf.

Rocco Mediate - "He looks like the guy who should be cleaning Tiger's pool."

Truthfully though -- the post-putt interview with Rocco was really nice. Mediate seems like such a nice fellow... kinda sad that one of those guys has to lose...

Mediate is one of the best interviews on tour, always open and candid. I was hoping he'd win. That said, Tiger's up and down was nothing short of amazing. To give himself a birdie chance after that lie in the rough? Wow.

The first hole tomorrow should be interesting. If I were Tiger, I think I might tee off with a 7 iron due to all of the problems so far on that hole. You also have to wonder how his knee is going to hold up after 18 more holes tomorrow. At times today it looked like he was about to hang it up because of the pain.

All of that being said, the man is not from Earth. I feel good watching golf knowing that I may never see anything like this again.

Tiger needs to take his pain medication before teeing off tomorrow. In his post match interview today he admitted feeling better later in the round because "I took something". Nothing wrong with it; I'm sure it's prescribed by his doctor and perfectly within the rules. If it helps, he needs to go ahead and take it so he can benefit from the start.

It can take as long as an hour for the meds to kick in...and if he took it right before tee off...he would rather feel better at the end of the round than the first couple of holes. I loved his reaction with the double fist pump, too.

He's doing it all on one leg! Great to watch!!

Guess he will have to wash his red shirt, tonight.

I wondered about the shirt, too. Something tells me Nike has a back up design in red that he might be able to get a hold of by today.

His run at Torrey was impressive, too. He's the first to finish under par in like 5 years.

I watched Tiger’s back 9 last night. First time I’ve watched that many holes of golf on tv, and maybe the most I’ve ever watched. With that being said, it was very entertaining and I wish I didn’t have to work today so I could watch.

When he hit it in the rough I told my family I was leaving the get together b/c I would be in a bad mood for the rest of the night....then he did what the great competitor of all time should do

Anyone hear what Scott Van Pelt said on Sportscenter? As he was closing he goes, "I'm out of suits. You'll see something you've already seen tomorrow." I found it funny.

Yeah he said Rocco and Tiger looked like they were on the same team cause they dressed alike. And he was like I guess tiger brought an extra red shirt, or he did a load of laundry real quick.
