Let it be known that the Duke Lacrosse players were cleared, and yet the good Rev. Al Sharpton still has not publicly apologized to those young men

That's a tough loss for Duke...they put a lot of resources in to McDonald. Their backup plan is Jamil Wilson, which I hope they turn on the heat for.

I love how this is a thread about Ty Lawson and suddenly cases involving Duke players that were ACCUSED of doing something get dragged into the mix. Can't fans of whatever school they pull for just step up and admit that a player from their beloved team made a mistake without feeling the need to turn the attention to someone else?

Don't lump us all together. A Carolina fan started this thread saying Lawson was an idiot for what he did. Just because another one can't say anything good about Carolina without saying something bad about Duke doesn't mean we're all like that.

For the record, that's exactly what I did.

I realize that blwall I wasn't talking about what you said. If you're a Carolina fan than I certainly admire you're willingness to point out Lawson's mistake. I was referring more to those who feel the need to suddenly make this a Duke and Carolina thing. Also, I wasn't trying to lump everyone together. Sorry if it came across that way.

as usual one person has turned this into a duke/carolina thing which always turns ill, so it's over.
