man i love this time of year!!! LU played five teams that are playing this weekend. southern miss, columbia, JMU, UVA, and coastal. We went a combined 4-10 against those teams. i think coastal will go to the super regionals, but the other teams we played i do not see advancing. and sly....how about the ACC with six in the tournament, and three of the top five national seeds! and the mighty big 12 only had five...and i know you are going to talk about rice blah, blah, blah  the coral gables and fullerton regionals are on the U.

The ACC had six teams, but until the conference actually wins the whole thing, not much can be said. It's kinda sad when the last time the ACC won it was 1954 or whenever Wake won it. Carolina was there the past two years but couldn't get past OSU.

Six. You left out Rider. We were 2-1 against them.

I love the ACC as much as the next guy, but the truth is the truth.

I'd love to say I was pulling for the North Carolina teams, but since three of em are paired in the same regional, I can't say that.

all im saying is sly rips the ACC every year and they have proven they are a consistent good baseball conference year end an year out and all that is missing is a national championship, which could very well happen this year with the U....and thanks RTF for the correction.

Go Heels!!!

Although, I think Miami is the hottest team from the ACC right now. UVA is up there, too.

I hope Elon finishes second in the Cary regional. I want Carolina to win, but I'm pulling for Elon any game they don't play Carolina. We played against one of their top pitchers his senior year in high school and he was a good kid so I've pulled for them since.

The kid I'm talking about is actually pitching right now for Elon. It's 2-2 in the 2nd.

Since we're discussing conferences and baseball, the SEC has the most this year with 9 teams. However, I'm hoping Carolina can win it all this year. Without Oregon State in the mix, they have a great chance IMO.

Carolina won tonight. They play UNCW tomorrow.

What did UNCW do this year that Carolina did not?
