A Sea Of Red

I thought Liberty fans might be at least somewhat interested in the Orukpe saga.

Well, it's nearly over. He was finally granted his student visa this past Monday, thanks to much persistance from the office of one of our local congressmen. Reports are that he's currently enroute to Wichita.

He signed his LOI with WSU last May and I assume it must have been about a year earlier when he signed with Liberty. So it's taken roughly two years to complete the process.

Another big man that got away.

Nothing to see here.

I wouldn't say he got away, because we never had him. He obviously never had any real desire to go to LU. He had a desire to play NCAA basketball and be coached by Dominic Okun. It will be interesting to see if he was worth all the fuss.
