This guy is ON FIRE. I am watching the Braves-Pirates, and they mentioned his recent hot streak. Over the course of about a week, he went 20-27. THATS NUTS!
Since May 2nd, his batting average has gone from .295 to .382, and he has added 4 homers and 11 RBI's in the stretch. Dude is going off.

He is a very vocal believer and easily the most liked guy in the Astros clubhouse. He is one of a handful of guys in the league that when he gets in a zone he can be nearly impossible to get out for stretches.

Berkman is one of the best. I think he is the best candidate on the Astros to be a future Hall of Famer. He has had a solid career and produced consistently with the exception of the first half of last season and his first year back after knee surgery. He tore his ACL while playing flag football at a church picnic. I was watching one of the games recently and they said that if he went 1-3 in the following game, he would have 21 hits in 30 bats. Only Pete Rose had done that previously.

Add another 3-4 night. 2-3 from the right side with a home run and 1-1 from the left side with a double. Astros have won 9 of their last 10 games. I mention that because most of you that rely on ESPN for your highlights would not see that. They seldom venture outside the big city teams on the coasts.

Oh, don't worry. Most of the guys on here could care less if everything west of the Appalachians fell into the Pacific Ocean.

better than me...in may i'm currently batting upper 500's w/ 2 hrs and probably as many rbi's as lance....and thats swinging at ball lobbed at 15mph....not 90 mph fastballs..
lance > me
