What a tragedy.

I heard he had a great sense of humor about the whole Kelsey Goss thing...God be with his family in this difficult time.

I found out this morning from a girl at Presbyterian but didn't want to be the one announcing it. I've had one of his teammates ask me to take down the videos but I personally wanted to keep them up. I feel that it shows him goofing off with some kids his own age and having a good time. The kid was a good player, and seemed to have a ton of fun with what he did. It sucks. It just does. A 30-minute drive home from a good night and now he's dead. It hits home when the kids are your own age.

I wanted to keep the Kelsey Goss videos up in a way for all of us to remember Larry Thomas but his teammates wanted me to take them down so I did. Hopefully one day I'll be able to put them back up, but for now, they're down.

Thanks for the prayers and good wishes for him and his family. This isn't even about football. On a campus so small, it doesn't matter if you're a football player or the yearbook editor. Everyone knows you for who you are, so the entire college is sad about this.

Wow, I hadn't heard about this until just now. The Big South schools have had some bad luck lately with tragedies like this w/ student-athletes (CSU losing a football player in an auto accident and a baseball player in an on-campus fight along with De'Andre Adams at WU)...And it sounded like Larry Thomas was a good guy with a good sense of humor (along with being a heck of a football player). It's really sad whenever I hear about someone younger than I am passing away...My thoughts and prayers are going out to the Thomas family and the whole PC family as well.

Tough loss...condolences to his family, friends and extended PC family.
