They will be an 8 seed and play 1 seeded Ohio State in the first round.

They got the auto bid here for winning the regular season title, but losing in the conference tournament. Hope they show well, but I don't see them beating Ohio St in Columbus.

Good luck to the Doggies. They'll need it. I would certainly like to see them pull off the upset.

Oden vs. George --- not a good match-up for UNCA

Umm, Oden is in the NBA.

I doubt Oden was ever "in college". He did, however, play one year at Ohio State before jumping to the NBA.

Alright, let's lay off of him. Anyway, back to the subject at hand. UNCA has no way of containing Mike Conley Jr. Dude is unstoppable and there's no way Smithson can lock him down.

Yeah, Conley is a beast, but I would suspect they put Garland on him though.

Check your calendar, Paradox: this is 2008. :banghead
In other words, the last time Oden was at OSU, Liberty's head coach was RD.

Hey, well eh, it wouldn't have been a good match-up for Ashville, if big Greg was still there. That's what I meant to say. Yea, that's the ticket.

Although OSU may not be able to contain Pittman, UNCA does not have an answer for Kellogg! I look for Josh Kohn's 3-pt shooting to be a key for the Bulldogs.

At the 10 minute mark of the first half,

Ohio State 27
Asheville 16

(Dox, still no sign of Oden).

10 point game at half with Ohio State leading.

KG has had a few points & a few blocks, even against OSU.

That was a great reference fumble! I got a chuckle out of this.
