Fumble Jr. seems to be making one heck of a name for himself at the LC baseball program. checked in on how he's been doing and in the latest press release it says he just hit his second walk-off single in as many games. looks like the boy is CLUTCH. in 14 games, hitting .460 overall, slugging .540 (tell your boy to start hitting some more extra base hits, fumble!), and an ob% of .556. second on team in runs with 18, second in hits with 23, tied for third with 12 rbi, and leads the team in stolen bases with 8.

I admit I was surprised there was any mention when he got the headline in the fishwrap the other day.

Come on, Fumbles. You are letting us down on your fatherly pride.

Sly...I learned last year that fatherly pride cometh before the fall. I got overly excited about his start the past two years...and the baseball gods got angry. A 1-29 slump will do that two a dad. I think it is Clint Hurdle who said...
