I have to say I'm shocked. I know Ashville had some guys healthy for the first time in a while, but they had been playing so poorly.

Smithson had 25. 13-13 from the line.

Kenny played over 20 minutes and had 10 points and 9 boards.

Gaynor with 12 was the only Eagle in double figures.

Playing the semis in the Justice Center would be a joke. Hopefully they will work something out to have it in the Civic Center.

Please don't put the Justice Center on ESPNU...that will not look good on national TV

It will look a whole lot better than having 750 of your closest friends at the Asheville Civic Center. Unless the town-folk come out and support it...they may not fill up the Justice Center since UNCA is on Spring Break this upcoming week.

I hope their Spring Break helps us out so they don't have a lot of student support. I think we can beat UNCA at UNCA, but I'm worried about us beating VMI first.

You mean co-wins. :D If CCU can claim their 2005 football one, we're taking this one. :D

I don't make the rules, the Big South Conference does.

Basketball has clearly labeled tie breakers. Football doesn't.

I don't see how you can "take this one" when the team you're tied with beat you twice by double digits.

Actually, I believe the tie-breakers are for tournament seeding only. They will go down in the BSC record book as regular season co-champions.

That is my understanding as well, olldflame.

That is right. The two teams both win co-big south titles. Now on to the tiebreaker!
