For those of you who dont read the Pesby Board.... Just thought i would share this that i just saw
2008 WILL BE AN EXCITING YEAR FOR HOSE BASKETBALL. THIS YEAR'S TEAM DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED FOR LAYING THE FOUNDATION FOR A SUCCESSFUL D-1 PROGRAM.
A perfect season - won all home games and lost all away games - this team made PC visible to the entire country plus brought home the bacon.
I just hope Duke is ready for next year when we take them on in the first round of the coaches vs cancer tournament
The way Duke is coming apart this season, the Blue Hose will cream um. Shame though, I was hoping for some decent competition out of those guys.
Just something to make every laugh or chuckle... Good clean fun

Glad you appreciate our humor. We suffered through a rough first BBall season but learned much about the higher level of competition.
Good luck to you guys this spring.

Yeah, I know. It's still nice to think about. Plus, anytime I can be involved in taking a shot at dook, I'm in.

UNC vs. dook overall. 127-98, IIRC. What's your point?

In addition, UNC-A was the conference champ this season, but I think we can take them, especially if we improve our transition game. If you can push the ball during transition you can completely negate Kenny George as a factor on defense.
I think South Carolina could also be a great win for the Blue Hose. If there's a time to play them, this coming season is definitely it. They've been down this season and Dave Odum's retirement means they'll have to learn a new coach's style of basketball. We have the advantage of a proven coach with a great system. Oh yeah, we also will have sophomores [Johnson, Miller, and Coleman] who are proven ballers, and possibly our strongest freshman class ever.
Duke huh...the way PC is improving and Duke is falling apart, might just win this one plus we can see their new freshman floor slapper guy live...should be a good game.
He gets points for mentioning the floor slapper, but I think he's serious about the beginning.
Good idea witnessing PC defeat Duke...shouldn't be too difficult after watching that team at the tournament. One of their freshman future stars quit the team today...kid named Taylor. Like I said, PC is going up while those guys are going down. Going to be a great win - just wish Duke wasn't falling apart to make it look like a better win.
09, got to have faith in your team. Those PC guys have more heart than any group I have ever seen. I think we can win this game.
Gotta believe. We're better than Gardner-Webb and they did win at Rupp.
Luckily they have some fans with brains that say they have no chance, but some of those quotes were funny.

Comparing Liberty and Coastal DBs to Pikeville DBs. I can't think of a good comparison of an FCS starting DB to a Pikeville scrub DB. It's not possible.

Nov 1, Liberty comes to town, can't wait to see that one. Those LU guys will never know what hit um. Poor LU going home after a resounding defeat in Clinton. At home, we can use all our secret weapons unlike last fall at their place.

Secret weapons like... booby traps? I mean really, what kind of "secret weapon" can you only use at home?
I will wait until I see the "resounding defeat", I guess.

They've dug a hole in the field and covered it with flimsy branches and then covered that with grass. Only they know where it is.
