I would love to see him in Red and Pewter, and not in Black and Red. I am glad they cut him, I hate that guy, he tears us apart.

I'd like to see my Skins end up with him. It's not going to happen since they just reworked Chris Cooley's contract but I'd still rather have Crumpler. If he can go to a team with a decent QB, he will put up great numbers. He averaged about 50 catches and 700 yards per season with Vick throwing to him so I'd imagine that those numbers would go up a bit with a good traditional QB throwing him the ball.

The Eagles don't need him, we tanchise fragged L.J. and we have some other decent young guys

It's actually quite surprising how many good (receiving) tight ends there are in the league now, because a lot of offenses don't emphasize it. Crumpler is pretty good, but there are a lot as good or better.
Gates
Gonzales
Winslow
Heap
Whitten
Shockey
All better than Crumpler IMHO.
Several others are in his class.

You know who doesn't have a pass catching TE that needs one? The same team that will have Chad Johnson under contract in 2008.

Agreed, those are the cream of the crop but I think Crumpler could be close in the right situation. Vernon Davis and Heath Miller are strong options as well.

I was actually at a radio function this afternoon when Owen Daniels head about Alge being cut. As soon as you start making money as a TE, the axe man usually is not far behind.
