After one season, D3 Birmingham Southern's football coach has resigned to take over the fledgling D1 U. of South Alabama program.

http://www.usajaguars.com/ViewArticle.d ... ID=1390076 Yeah, Jones will be heading to a South Alabama program that will start football in the 2009 season, move into the FBS in 2011, and play football in the Sun Belt in 2013......
