I'm not a big fan of Big 10 football, but that is going to be a nice stadium.

That looks good.
I hadn't realized that there haven't been any stadiums built in the Big Eleven since the Eisenhower administration.

When was the last time any BCS school built a new stadium? I'm genuinely curious and I bet it has been a L O N G time.

All I know is that there will be some COLD games there towards the end of the season.

If you consider 2006 a L O N G time, then yeah. Stanford built their new stadium in 06.

I'm hearing our new digs may be somewhat similar to UCF

now don't go all ape _ _ _ _ on me. I'm not saying the additional seating will be that extensive- only that the concept of the STYLE/DESIGN/SEATING config may be somewhat remeniscent.

IE: not a full, circular bowl (Notre Dame) but a somewhat angular layout.

And I could be completely misinformed. It happens often. Ask my wife.

No Smoothie, they tore down the old stadium and built the new one in the same spot. I'll try to pull an article up on it and post it here.
