Coastal is a good home team and Liberty is coming off a tough loss to Winthrop, the key as always is whether or not JL can hit his threes. I think he does but LU will keep it close but CCU wins the close one 1-5

VMI @ Asheville 7pm (on MASN)
VMI has Reggie Williams back and is looking to make a hard charge at a home tourney game, this game would have been a no brainer for UNCA before watching them last night without Smithson, if he can't go I don't see any way UNCA can stay close. Before hearing an injury update VMI 11-15

Winthrop is starting to gain some momentum after wins against HPU and LU and now they get a home game with Radford, this could be a let down game after 2 really important games, but I don't think so. WU 16-20

HPU knows it has to win out with LU/CCU/VMI breathing down their neck to secure the 3 seed they really want (avoid having to play UNCA and WU on the road for a chance to win the tourney) I think they come out with a purpose and win HPU 11-15

Yup, and we gave RU the springboard to improvement. They are hanging tight with Winthrop.

RU's win over us certainly was a turning point for them, although they had been playing better and knocking on the door for a couple of games before that. We should be highly motivated when we play them in the Vines, and we will need to be. They are not an easy W any more.

Another Update:

VMI rocking UNCA 62-43 with 13 left

WU holding off RU 30-26 at half.

Chuck up 42-40 with 2 left in the first.

WU taking over...

VMI up 23 with 4 1/2 left...

and still halftime at Chuck? Tied at 42.
