when i posted it i was going to be a jerk and say something like, "for all you non-acc people, get over it," then i decided against it. it is kind of a big game.

well the situation with Ty Lawson hasn't sounded too terribly good for the Heels, so unfortunately i'm going with the Dookies.

with ty lawson possibly out it puts a different spin on the game, but you gotta go with the home team...heels in a close one.

if lawson is hurt pretty bad and unlikely for tonight's game (
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=3232805 ) ... then tough break for the holes.
if lawson is "hurt pretty bad and unlikely for tonight's game" and still manages to have 20 points and 10 assists ... then roy is full of

.
go duke.

I doubt Lawson plays. Even if he somehow gets in the game, he won't be that effective because he's not 100%.
dook doesn't have to change their gameplan...it's up to the Heels to adjust theirs with Lawson's absence. It will be interesting to see. I can't wait for tonight.

Lawson on crutches, but shoots solo

North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson hasn't ruled out playing in tonight's game against No. 2 Duke. Wearing an air cast and walking with a pronounced limp, Lawson said late Tuesday night that his sprained left ankle was "getting better." Asked if he thought he'd play against the Blue Devils, Lawson said, "I'm going to try."

I think Liberty and High Point will be a really close game that could determine who gets third place in the league.

Roy's quote from yesterday mentions exactly this:
"I don't even know if he's going to go on the floor. And I'm being honest guys. Somebody yelled at me and said, 'Hey, over in Durham, they think you're trying to trick them.' I said, 'Yeah, I held him out for the last 41 minutes of the game Sunday to trick somebody...'

that will be a game that has my attention first along with the WBB game vs RadTurd on the radio and LU looking to put a butt kicking on Radford after last year.
then its on to Dook and UNC

I pray to God Lawson can play.... I really don't want the ball in Q's hands for the bulk of the game... Heels win 84-77 and re-take the top spot in the conference....Flameshaw ask your daughter who she is rooting for tonight?

Duke goes into the Dean Dome and win 83-76 After Hansborough leaves the game early fearing Henderson might rough him up again....lol

As a Heels fan and fellow-wisher of that outcome, I must ask...WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING?! Lawson won't play, Heels lose by 14, 85-71.

Nah. I'm sick, the weather was supposed to be terrible, and I have 7:40's in the morning. Working on homework and chugging Robitussin right now.
