Create your own candidates for the following categories. Add your own categories if you like!

Player who most regrets his retirement decision:

Tiki Barber (former NY Giant)

Most exposed fraud (team) from the beginning of the season:

Chicago Bears (Superbowl last year, last place in their division the next)

Most exposed fraud (team) after week 9 (half way point):

Detroit Lions 6-2 in first 9 weeks, 1-7 in the final 8 weeks

Most overachieving team:

Tampa Bay Bucs

Comeback Kids: (after week 8 )

Minnesota Vikings (2-5 at week 8 ; 6-3 to end the season)

Worst trade and best trade:

Raiders trade Randy Moss to the Pats for a 5th round pick (the trade for Wes Welker could be considered as well, but I'm not sure that a large part of his success was due to Randy Moss and Tom Brady)

Biggest playoff bust:

tie: Cowboys, Colts, and the Packers at home in sub frigid weather (should have been a lock with that type of home field advantage)

Commentators crowing the toughness award:

Philip Rivers. I swear I heard the commentators talk about how "tough" he was 50 times during the last playoff game. If you didn't know the guy, and could only hear the game, you would have sworn the guy was an amputee. I'm sure they will crown someone new for the Superbowl though.

Most Surprising Season (team):

Cleveland Browns (with Arizona nipping at their heels)

Most Surprising Season (individual):

Brett Favre

San Diego Chargers

Worst trade and best trade:

Falcons trade Matt Schaub to Houston Texans. The draft picks may help Atlanta, but as far as this season goes, the quarterback situation was a mess for the Falcons.

Biggest playoff bust:

Dallas Cowboys

Commentators crowing the Prince of the NFL award:
Tony Romo (Tom Brady used to be this award winner but he is King now, even if he doesn't win the Super Bowl this year)

Most Surprising Season (team):
New York Giants

Most Surprising Season (individual):
Brett Favre

Most Underachieving team:
Philadelphia Eagles
