It's already Starting!!!!
Patriot fans acosted me throughout the church tonight to tell me:
"Congrats but you don't have a shot next week." me- How do you count the Chargers out now?
"Good thing the Colts Offense had an off day." me don't you think the Bolts Defense had something to do with that?
So I said - "Let's just wait and see, I think we have a shot though".
Nice and calm, FOR NOW!

a banged up football team away from home against that juggernaut?
depending on injuries i won't be surprised to see a 20 pt spread on this one..

As the offical flamefans gambler.. 14 1/2 is the spread and just for you NFC fans... Packers are a 7 point favorite... Pats and G-men look good to me... Chargers will get killed just like they did in week 2 and it might even worse then the beating that N.C.ST took yesterday!!

If you were a betting man, and someone offered you 10-14 points, would you bet on the Chargers?
As much as I'm glad to see the Chargers break out of the playoff jinx they have had the past few years, I cannot imagine they keep the game close. Playing on the road, in a winter environment, against what many have already crowned as the greatest team in the history of the NFL, doesn't bode well for the Chargers.
My prediction 31-3 Pats. (I do hope the game is much closer than that though)

I don't bet cause I'm broke, but YES I would. I'm not ready to make a score prediction yet, but I will say it will be within 10 pts. I would offer to shave my head if I'm wrong, but I already do.

Well if you are right, that will be a GREAT call. I'm not sure the spread will be less than 14. I don't gamble, but if I did, I wouldn't TOUCH that game this weekend. Especially if I were betting against the Pats.

30-3 gives the Chargers to my credit...I mean i think they will get a touchdown or 2. However Nate Kaeding ( aka the anti-Vinateri) can't make a playoff field goal to save his life! The 3 missed 3 field goals all year and is now 1 for 3 in the playoffs. We need a choke emotion.
