Has anyone seen the highlights of the first half of the Carolina/Asheville game? Kenny George blocked the crap out of Hansbrough. I watched it three times in a row on DVR.

Whats more impressive is that UNCA only lost by 12 points.

Go to ESPN.com and their main MBB page. They have highlights.

VERY impressive non-conference for UNCA...the best since they beat S.Car and New Mex State back in the day.

George wasn't jumping in that pic. That play was the #1 play on Sportscenter's top 10.

yeah- that's not right; as I recall, KG had 10 pts and 5 blocks by halftime. (I only watched the first half. )

I saw an article where he said: “I don’t hate it, but there are times I wish that I weren’t so tall.”
I'm having a hard time feeling sorry for him though.

I was a bit off:

he had 14 pts, 11 boards, and 4 blocks in 24 min of action

Blocks are probably the worst kept stat in basketball. They're always wrong.

blwall14160 - youre sig is pretty funny...looks like boateng made a great choice going to that POWER known as az state. Just checked his stats and they did a lot to develop him during his offseason. He's overpowing his opponents to average a whopping 4.7 points per game.

I'm actually glad he's gone, because we may not have signed singler if that waste of space ,boateng, was still here.

I just hope we can get one of our two injured centers back in time for the VA game and the rest of conference play and we shake this shooting slump. The VA game this weekend should be a good matchup.

I guess he was looking at dook's track record with big men lately, & decided 4.7 points per game was enough improvement. 8)

I'm not sure exactly which player you're trying to dog, but our last true big man was shelden williams and he had a pretty solid career and was a first round pick. McRoberts was undersized and more of a sf playing at the four and five. As for Zubek and Thomas, the jury is still out on them because they didn't start playing decent minutes until this year and they're both injured right now. Prior to Williams, I would say that Boozer, Battier and Brand are making it by ok in the nba.
Again, what exactly is arizona STATE going to do for boateng????? Nothing. That guy was a joke.

Prior to Williams, I would say the crop they produced up to williams- Brand-battier-boozerare playing very well in the league. Much better than sean MAY I have another donut.
