Parcells gives Ricky another shot

Ricky Williams' perpetual comeback apparently will include the 2008 NFL season.
The Miami Herald reported Thursday that the agent for the Dolphins running back received a letter dated Dec. 31 and signed by Bill Parcells stating his contract would be renewed for next season.

Doesn't he still technically owe the team money for not fulfilling his last contract....i guess they just let that go?

As long as Ricky keeps showing up for work he doesn't owe the Dolphins anything.
This really is a low risk deal for the Dolphins and the Tuna has always been big on giving second and third chances.

Agreed, With Williams in the backfield and the possiblity of a wide recieving core of Johnson and Johnson.....this team could be interesting.

Chad is rumored to be traded by yahoo sports i think, and i read a report where keyshawn says he is close to Parcells and won't deny a possible return.

parcells will last 2 years with the dolphins...then he'll be back in the booth...he's "retired" 3 times now....stupid...

No doubt Chad gets dealt. However, I can't see him going quietly to Miami.
