Best defense in the NFL, very efficient QB who does not turn it over, solid running back, amazing special teams.
It's all over.

Tampa Bay is "only" third in the NFL in scoring defense and second in yards per game. Therefore, they are not the best...
Scouts Inc. on ESPN Insider ranks TB's defense 9th out of the 12 teams, QB play ranked 8th out of 12, running backs 10th out of 12, and special teams 7th out of 12. Add up all those rankings and other rankings they made, Tampa came in last on offense and 9th on defense.

The media doesn't hype the Bucs because it isn't a big market.
Allowed the fewest yards per play.
Have allowed opponents into the red zone the fewest times in the NFL.
+15 Turnover Ratio.
Best, most well-rounded, tough to beat defense in the NFL.

What wins games? POINTS. They are only third in scoring defense, meaning two other teams give up less POINTS than TB - and Indianapolis and Pittsburgh - who ranked ahead of TB - have a better offense

tampa's offense has been actually aroudn teh 8th-10th best this year and recently are only middle of the road...and their defense is underrated....
ii have them losing to the giants though...however, i do think they have a very favorable chance of beating the giants...especially if they fluster manning...

Manning will be a sitting duck. He will not be able to get those lucky deep balls to Plax, and will have to dink and dunk til he goes nuts.

Tampa Bay WILL beat the Giants....but that will be it. Sorry. I love Jeff Garcia and wish the Eagles had kept him, but c'mon. Tampa Bay winning the NFC? Um, no.
Having said that, I am rooting for them to make the Super Bowl if the Packers don't make it. I'm for anyone but the Cowboys/Giants though.

I hope you are right. My Detroit Lions beat them back in October. That could be the one positive we could say about this season!!

They didn't get lit up at all.
They just had to spend WAY too much time on the field.
But I was wrong. Oh well.

Did you see his stats?
He didn't get any yardage at all.
We just couldn't sack him, so he had all day too dink and dunk.
As a TEAM they had 271 yards, with 34 minutes of possesion.
I would say our defense did just fine, better than most anyone else would do.
Our offense was what killed us. And it was the coaches fault for abandoning the run.

I agree, I am just saying to not blame the defense when they owned face. Our offense and coach and special teams didn't even bother to show up, and we lost.
I hope Gruden gets fired.

I'm already tired of hearing how great Eli Was yesterday. He was OK, but not great! I guess everyone is so used to seeing him poo in his pants that they are shocked that he did OK!
