Who should play Ohio State in the Championship?
Not who will, but who should?
My vote goes to Oklahoma, who beat Mizzou twice
They won the Big 12 Championship
Their one loss? The starting QB(who should be considered for Heisman) who got knocked out early in the first quarter.

Great poll...went with LSU...they're ranked higher than LSU and had two worse losses. CANNOT go with any team that didn't even with their division in their I-A conference.

Hawaii - It would be the funest game to watch and create a little drama - any game now is just not going to be fun. If I could reseed - I wold like a UF vs OU or USC.

Ohio State shouldn't be there IMO...but for the team that should face them if they do go: Hawaii

for me its between 3 teams.
oklahoma
lsu
va tech
va tech had the hardest schedule of the 3 but got annialated by lsu. so lsu over them.
so whats left?
lsu vs oklahoma
lsu had a harder schedule....lsu.
that being said, as much as a big ten homer i am, they are down, and i'm not so sure ohio state belongs there either. i would rather see a lsu/oklahoma bcs championship.
ohio state only had 1 loss but they also had 1 less game. their only loss came to a decent illinois team as well....for me, if lsu or oklahoma win their bowl game, they have as much of a case as the one who wins the bcsc

I was the second person to vote on this , late last night
I voted LSU and stand by that.
They may still be the best team in the country at this level. Hawaii?

are you kidding me?

well OSU will get dogged again by an SEC team. this time LSU. this should be another blowout.

because osu doesn't play for 6 weeks and the fact that the big ten generally sucks against a spread offense i agree...

Hawaii. When a team pays $1,000,000 not to play them, they're probably pretty good. This isn't a case where you can say "well then play a better schedule". They did everything they could.

It will be U-G-L-Y...
...there won't be no alibi!
Take LSU and give any points.

who paid $1 mil not to play them?
no one wants to play hawaii because hawaii wants it to be a 75% of the time. they want a team to go there and play. thats for most eastern teams a 10-12 hour flight....the equivalent of playing in europe...

I picked FIU. The way they played on Saturday, I think they could take on the Patriots right now.

I thought it was Michigan State. They were on the schedule and opted out of it. Or so I hear. Never actually verified it myself but I believe 100% of what I hear.

they were fined $250,000.
it was a game that was scheduled 4 years ago. apparently the big ten was planning on spreading games out so that their season ended right along with everyone elses. that didn't happen and while the big ten ended their season this year at week 12. msu would of still had to play hawaii in week 14. so they cancelled it and took the hit.
