Packers / Cowboys

Give your pick here and WHY!

I say Packers in by 1 score. Brett will pick apart the Cowboys lousy secondary and pick on Roy Williams the whole game. But the Packers "D" will be the key. They are a big part of the story that noone is talking about. Bjimila and Kampman will have Romo on the run the whole game.

Cowboys win in a shootout. Neither team can stop the other. Score in the 30s with the Cowboys maybe reaching the 40s

The NFL doesn't want me to watch this game, so I refuse to care about it.

Packers and it isn't close. That team is on such a roll right now, and is very good on offense and defense.

I'm interested to know how many losers aren't able to see this game.

I like the Packers in a close game. Favre is on another level right now.

I hate Dallas. Maybe by me picking them they will lose.

But I do think they are the better team RIGHT NOW- due primarily to more offensive weapons.

WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!

The NFL wants you to see it...it is the Cable companies who don't. The NFL wants it on basic and the cable companies want to charge you an extra tier price to watch it, though.

So the cable companies should make all of their customers pay for a specialty network that most of them won't even watch? The NFL makes the cable companies pay a hefty sum to broadcast the NFL network. Making it part of a specialty package means only the people who want that network will bear the cost instead of the cable company spreading it out to all of their customers. The cable companies are actually (for once) doing their customers a favor.

I have a problem with the NFL is trying to leverage their content to get into the broadcast business. It's certainly their prerogative, but I think it's excessive and greedy. I'm not going to pay them to use their network. Not through a flat-fee on satellite or through an additional fee on cable.

This game sounds boring already. I don't think I will act excited at all. Probably make everyone at home want to mute their TV's. But my last name is Gumble, so I make the big bucks.

Dear Bryant,

YOU stunk out loud last night. You are incoherant and stupid. Your voice is also very annoying.

And if Collinsworth comes around, I used to like you but with Bryant in the booth with you, you stink too.

Bryant, you going to answer to this smack. I would love to see someone with a knucklehead try our job once, just once.

Actually I anchored some sports on our noon news for about 2 years. I would say I did a very good job too. It is what I went to LU for to begin with. After directing 1 show, I was hooked, and gave up the sportscasting thing. I've called many Football and basketball games on radio as well.
SO BACK OFF!

Man, Gumbel was terrible last night. It was better than his work last year, but his voice and tone is just awful. No way this guy has a job anywhere using his voice if his last name was Jones.
