I looked all of them up to get larger versions before I made my picks. I based them on two things:
a) How much I just liked it
b) Would it transfer to other backgrounds?
The biggest thing I dislike about ours is it doesn't look good on anything but white.

I like Radfords concept but the tail on the U has always bugged me. That's a lowercase letter dangit!

Ours are almost backwards.
I hate VMI's logo. CSU, PC, and RU are bad in my opinion too. I like PC more than the other 3 though. Their's is boring but at least it looks good.

Bulldog is used too much, but the colors and font are cool.

Not a huge fan of our logo, but it is better than all the rest below.

The Buccaneers have flags with crossbones, not girly swords.

A dilapidated dog. What a mascot.

Kansas Ripoff font, and only two letters, very inventive.

I think letters have their place in logos, but I generally don't love them as main logos, but rather secondary ones. I think that letter logos are better for football helmets, hats, etc.

I don't even like that. If i wet to CCU I would rather have the Chanticleer on my hat or helmet than 'CCU'
Logos are awesome if done properly, and should be worn proudly.

interesting. I feel that graphics feel too dated and have to be changed every 10 years or so, where as letters always make up the "classic" logos that withstand time.

The thing I love about Asheville is they incorporated the mountains into their logo.
Winthrop's is just so basic and simple and I love it for some reason.
I don't mind Coastal's except for the balls on the chin. Plus I don't like any graphic that, if the words are taken away, looks dumb.

If we ever reached a point where we could just brand ourselves with the eagle that didn't have "Liberty Flames" in it, then the eagle itself could be red, white or blue, making it more suitable for other colors. I don't think that will happen for a long time, though.

I've never seen "eagle made of flames" in our logo. It's not a bad looking logo. I'm just not a huge fan of it.

Really? That's the only way I've ever seen it.
