Who was the NFL referee who used that expression years ago?

I thought "Giving Him the Business" was at least a 10 yard penalty in college ball. Replay the down? That's a steal.

Oh man...I laughed so hard when I saw that video...BTW anybody remember NFL referee Red Cashion? He actually would call square dances in his spare time, but I loved the way he said "first down"

He had to have lost a bet or something. Classic.

Believe it or not, that's the same guy that reffed our game vs. Saint Francis. A game in which, of course, the Red Flash "got the business".

Interestingly enough, this is not the first time a player has been called for giving another player the business. In 1986, Marty Lyons of the New York Jets was called for "giving him the business down there" when he pounded Jim Kelly from the Buffalo Bills repeated in the head. Official Ben Dreith made the call.
