Delaware up 21-0 right now on DSU. Still in the 1st quarter.

Sorry it was actually 20-0, UD kicker missed the EP. It's now 23-0 early 2nd quarter.

30 - 0 Hens.....37 - 0 Hens.....Omar Cuff is too much.....

Shame, shame, shame.....

Maybe that's why they never play.

Because State isn't legitimate competition.

Hornets got lucky they won the MEAC.....

Hampton should've won the MEAC. The Hornets were emotionally driven to the playoffs by those shootings out over in Newark, NJ, near my hometown. It's sad to see the Hornets take on a extremely good CAA team in Delaware. 44-7, Hens.

Delaware St just got MEAC'd.

The MEAC proves again that as a league they're terrible.

Sad, But True.....

As much as I'm a fan of HBCU football, the schools really need to up their competition. There's no use taking on D-II HBCUs and calling them "Classics" all the time. MAN UP, MEAC and SWAC! Savannah State needs to be relegated back to D-II. Even their uniforms are as ugly as their play.

We were driving at the end of that game, but ran out of clock. We had the ball on their 20 & our brilliant QB threw a pass to the middle of the field with no timeouts (should have taken a shot to the endzone - maybe a fade to Simpson, etc.). This was the same QB that started out that game with one completion out of his first 13 passing attempts.

You guys should have been in the playoffs, IMO.

I dont know on paper we had alot of holes in our resume it makes sense were not in

Of course maybe if BB had a brain and benched richardson you would have won that game and then maybe Delaware would have missed and we pick up the extra spot??

And BB coaches PC. CDB coaches CCU.

App/JMU

JMU did everything right- until the last 15 seconds.

JUST KICK THE FG!!!
nope. screwed around at the 15 yd line and in an unbelievable finish- get NO chance as they PUT THE BALL ON THE GROUND.

To be fair- App was down 27-19 with 6 min to play and rallied back- scoring twice , the go-ahead TD with a little over 1 min left and hung on.

UNBELIEVABLE.

would be surprised if the Mountaineers move on from the next round, though. Not their year, I don't think.

Wofford/Montana

Anyone else notice that WOFFORD went out and took down Montana AT MONTANA?

holy mackeral-andy!

guess that's why they play 'em.

UMass/Fordham

no shock in this one as the game wasn't even as close as the score indicated. (49-35 Minutemen)

I truly believe we were a better team than both Fordam and Del State.

NIU/UNH

freakin' #1 seed barely gets by New HAMPSHIRE, scoring w/ 7 seconds left.

NEW HAMPSHIRE.

unbelievable.

come to think of it - throw in these 2 teams, E. Kentucky and E. Illinois, as well as the ones I mentioned ^^^ , maybe we REALLY could've made some noise in the playoffs.

woulda, coulda, shoulda.

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

That was my favorite to win, the Grizzlies!

Montana's schedule was like ours. They didn't play anybody. They just played a bunch of nobodies in front of 30,000+.

Really everybody else played each other very close in the Big Sky. Montana was the only team with less than 3 losses in conference this year. Wofford really stepped it up bigtime this year.

Except if you're Northern Colorado in the Big Sky! Montana was 11-0. Wofford got lucky because the Montana kicker missed wide left.

I dont think there's any questioning that we would have made some noise. We were on a roll. We were just a win or two short. Noone to blame but ourselves.

You can't say they got lucky. They beat them. They got the shaft in the first place by having to go out there and play after winning the SOCON. Should be a great 2nd round matchup between Richmond and Wofford. Go Spiders!

App St beats Eastern Washington and advances to the Final 4. I know I wouldn't want to play them even though they didn't get a top 4 seed.

Delaware 19
UNI 13 at half

Delaware knocks off the #1 and Northern Iowa is out.

So is UMass.

If Richmond knocks off Wofford, that'll leave exactly 0 autobid teams left in the bracket.
