never afraid to speak their minds- after 1 transitional season, its now "trash the league" time

LU wins for:
  • Least Impressive (atmosphere)

Worst Field (they claim its covered in mildew and too shiny)

    Worst Band.
I'm re-thinking my "great to have you in our league, guys" at the start of the season. On second thought- they have so much wisdom and guidance to offer the Big Suck, maybe we should out-source our entire AD's office to them. 8)

Saw it yesterday and laughed.

They also think the Dedmond Center at Radford is nice, and that it's a 2-mile walk at Coastal to get to the field.

Meanwhile, over in the MBB forum- the loss to RadfUrd is being blamed on obvious referee bias against PC, as well as them not calling "over the back" on RU.

cue HAIZE or GMTM ...

They were also bragging how they outplayed Nebraska in the 2nd half because they scored more points.

Score at halftime: 43-16
Score at the end: 67-52

Yea, they sure did scare em.

...or me.

Absolutely hate the "over the back" crap spewed from cesspools who have no idea what they are talking about........also, hate the yelling of "3 Seconds".....or the misinterpretation of the 5 second closely guarded rule.

It's because their radio guy is full of it. I listened to their fb game vs. NC Central and he must have broken out the phrase "home cookin'" in regard to the refs a dozen times. And PC was winning.

Sounds to me like they're just trying to pick a fight.

Although, we'll be sure to write reviews of their atmosphere, field and band after we make the trip next year.

I'm sure the word "quaint" will make an appearance.

Its interesting that they are commenting on who has the best and worst band when thhey don't even have a marching band program. I will admit that LU isn't exactly a set the world on fire best band in the land but saying its the worst is a bit of a stretch

Ahhh they're playing powerhouse, St. bonneventure.
they're still enamored with the fact that their guys are on the same court with "real schools"

We're stepping up from Division II and going pretty big. As you can see, we're playing Ohio State, Wake, Georgia Tech, and NC State. We also had Southern California on the schedule for a while. Basketball is one of the school's most successful programs, and our current coach is the winningest in our history. Our team is loaded with talent, including the five freshmen we signed this past year. We gave Nebraska a fit in the second half and actually outscored them by 12
:D

I have to admit having the same feeling back in '88 when we went DI  Difference being, I got over it.

I wouldn't exactly call Tulsa, Fresno State, nor Army "The best," neither. They should have a ball with UC Davis, and Radford, WOO!

PC fans are idiots....I really try never to lump a group together like that but I just cant help it....I know your excited about joining the big boys but seriously...get a hold on reality and understand where you rate (for right now) you'll prob win one day and there may be a day your better than LU in a sport...but that day isnt today so come back when you are

it's no different then these LCA girls who say how they are going to play at a Top 5 team in the nation yet couldnt walk on at LC

you talk to LCA girls alot? I mean I know you like high school girls, but I'd probably keep that to myself if I were you. You know, those stupid age rules...
