Selection Process:
The 16 team field will consist of teams that are not selected for the 65 team NCAA Tournament. Teams will be invited based upon their performance during their conference and non-conference schedule, as well as how well the team is playing at the end of the regular season.

Whats really sad is that probably no one from the Big South will be invited...our league sucks, and until McKay's first real recruiting class comes in there's nothing Liberty can do about it.

You sure 'bout that? I'd love to see a tournament where Savannah State takes on Texas-A&M Pan American in the championship of this tournament!
