LCA playing in it's first year of Division I, The top classification in virginia private schools will play #4 St. Stephens/Agnes at williams stadium friday night at 7:30. if the bulldogs win they will host the state championship either nov 16 or 17. the bulldogs enter the contest at 10-0, and #1 in the state. the dawgs play bishop ireton for the title and a win would cap off a nice run through the best DI teams in the state. LCA has proven they are really the best in private school football.

LCA wins it's 3rd state championship in four years with a 35-14 win over Bishop Ireton. LCA was down 14-7, but scored 28 unanswered points to win their first Division I championship.

I was following Dez RIce and I didn't catch him lateral it to Patrick Kelly. Mike Godsoe helped me out on that one because I thought for sure he still had the ball. I had a situation against Flint Hill where I thought the RB for Flint Hill had been stopeed but he just kept churning and eventually got in the end zone with like 3 LCA guys on him
