This has nothing to do with Liberty baseball, but I figured I would take this opportunity to open up a can of worms and ask all of you baseball fans what you think about the ridiculousness (might not be a word, but definitely applies to a-rod) that A-rod has brought upon himself as well as "stealing" the thunder of the Fall Classic.

I had this conversation with Eric Young of ESPN yesterday while he was co-hosting my radio shows. He seemed taken back by the greed but I told him if someone if stupid enough to give him all of that cash then good for him.

Does A-Rod appear to care about anyone other than himself? It certainly doesn't appear that way. But that shouldn't stand in the way of his right to operate in the capitalist system.

while i may think its stupid he has every right to do what he wants....meanwhile, tim duncan took less money with the spurs to help them keep some of the talent they have...and we never heard a word about it...me likey

Alex Rodriguez has refused an offer to sign with the New York Yankess making him a free agent for the upcoming season. This is great news for teams with lots of money that don't care about winning.
