Say what you want, but for a coach to get in there with those big guys, trying to take control of his players...that takes some brass. Coach McKay does a great job on this one.

I've seen better girl fights. None of those guys could fight their way out of a wet paper sack! Coach did what he should have done.

Oh, the fight wasn't that bad. But, it only takes on errant swing to land on another person's jaw.

Props to Coach. Hopefully there will be no fighting going on with our team though.

I dont like to be Mr Negative but you obviously dont realize the type people we have on our team...expect a lot of these type fights to happen this year

We certainly cannot tell from the video, but it would appear that the one thing Coach McKay forgot to do was secure his bench players and have his staff keep them back before going into it to help break it up. At one point, I count nine white jerseys on the floor.


Anyone know what the result was, i.e., technical fouls, ejections, etc.?

There are ALWAYS fights in practice and I don't care what school or team you play on. You just get tired of pounding on the same people over and over again. My best friend and I got down into a few knock down drag outs in practice. Others got into it. I am not sure it is a negative reflection on the players or the team.
Now getting into fights with the OTHER team is another story. THAT shows an undisciplined team

agreed- though if someone stomped ME while I was on the ground there'd be an issue, too.

maybe only 5'5" worth- but an issue all the same

But at 5'5" on a basketball court you would always be ASSUMED to be on the ground and not standing up
