Will be on TV. I forget the driver's name, but he will be in some kind of bragging rights race for his division this Saturday at 10pm on SPEED network. It's the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown.

for any of you aesthetic enthusiasts, I find the script they used for the number on this car to be interesting. I've never seen a number using the same scripting they use for the athletic logo.

Is this some sort of LU trademark? If not, what is it called?

from the lynchburg fishwrap:
Local driver's luck turning

Apparently, Stephen Berry's sophomore slump has been confined solely to the race track.
The second-year NASCAR Late Model Stock division driver encountered some unfortunate luck behind the wheel of his race car this season, but he made up for that tenfold when he charmed STI Motorsports owner Glenn Rudolph and secured a part-time gig driving in the Busch East Series.

I was anxious to see the LU car and impressed when Stephen qualified 14th on Friday, but Saturday didn't go well and he finished 38th after an accident on lap 45 of 250. It was cool though to see LU represented. The athletic logo looks great on the hood.

I forgot to DVR it! But I did find it on the schedule again and set it up to record. I think it's on Thursday during the day for all those that missed it.

actually watched the race.

A nice pre-race interview with him in the car- mentioned that LU gave him a full ride.

Even ol' DW had nice things to say ("Great kid", "real nice young man", "was hoping he'd have a great nite")

and yes- the car looked good- until the nose got bashed in :x

looking forward to seeing him next season
