I'm not sure if I commented on it at all before the game, but I was confident in USF. I really think they will run the table. They have one of those defenses that will just smash the face of any team they come up against. And Grothe is turning into a really good QB. He's like, everything a good "game-manager" should be. Decent arm, great decision making, good runner, makes plays. I would be very afraid of playing this team.

USF was much better this week then the previous 3 combined...and UCF played their worst game of the season, those 2 things combined is a recipe for a blowout...if USF can continue to play as well as they did today...teams need to watch out...

oh well...i never am the kind of person to talk up a team like I did with ucf....and this is exactly why...in sports you never can be too sure what team is going to show up week to week....plus USF played out of their minds...by far their best game of the year..I don't know if they will stay unbeaten, but if they play every week like they did on saturday then they should...but I have a feeling they will lose before the season ends....but we shall see

funny thing is- I saw that score come across on the devil's network and immediately thought of your prediction
(not that I spend my weekends thinking about you...)

Bandwagoner...Im sure you were waiting for them to lose just so you could say that. Now I think that it is sad that USF lost, but again, they are still a good team, just not national championship good yet,

So what if they had beat Rutgers last night...would you be saying they deserve to be in the national championship? USF is a GOOD team, I mean they go from brand new startup football program to #2 in the BCS rankings in 10-11 years. Now are they good enough to be regular players in teh national championship debate...probably not. Can they be? Id say yes. They are a lot like Boise State was last year (of course the Broncos finished undefeated last year). People that all of a sudden are trumpeting that Leavitt, Grothe and the rest of them are not that good are simply folks that jumped on the bandwagon and as soon as they lost would jump right off. They lost to a very good Rutgers team last night that obviously had them game planned pretty well. USF can still get a Jan 1 bowl game and BCS is not totally out of the realm of possibility

Cmon to the left...rutgers is a good team. however this year in college football most teams in the top ten probably should not be there, but are by default. is USF the 2nd best team in the country??? doubt it, but they are still a very good team.

Well, duh! They still win the Big East if they win out from here. If you've taken even a glance at their schedule the rest of the way, you've seen that it won't be tough to do. And even if they don't get to the BCS, they're a shoe-in for the Gator Bowl with their geographic proximity to Jacksonville.

I don't know about USF winning the rest of their games. As I have said on another message board, stop Grothe, USF QB and you will win, he is their entire offense. As Rutger did, contain him in the pocket and you can beat him. Plus they may have lost their one tackle(sr.) last night for the year. See how the offensive line plays from here on out
