umm....have you guys seen how amazing Notre Dame is, and USC is second to them.....

ABC, NBC, FSN, ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN Classic, CBS, PBS should all play Notre Dame football games....they are the standard of excellence....

okay maybe a little sarcasm. UNC#1 in 2013

Apparently. Maybe LU can corner the ION network.

Side note: What was up with the Washington Unis...I like the classic look to them, but man I kept thinking I was watching Notre Dame vs. USC tonight.

I saw the Washington uni's and wondered if it was Ty's way of putting it in ND's face.

I always believed in Dr. Falwell's vision of LU going up to South Bend one day and whooping up on Notre Dame (really, I did). I always thought though, that it meant that Liberty would eventually progress itself up to respectability... Maybe I was right for believing that -- but for all the wrong reasons.

Ummm....NBC did show the ND game in Lynchburg, I watched it because Jimmy Clauson was not even playing QB

NBC only shows Notre Dame's home games. Usually ABC/ESPN picks up the majority of the rest.

ND was on ESPN I think. But the point of my post was ABC shows USC every week. It's annoying. And since when was UW's ever blue? They're purple. I didn't understand that.

It could be that they are the #1/2 team depending on which poll you use...Also I think that L.A market might have something to do with it :nod.....And yes NBC has ND home games....Boy that Duke game might be a close game...

Since when does the number 1 team get on national TV every single week? Of course they want the LA market, and I would certainly expect it to be on IN the LA market.

How many teams have had a run like USC has the past 5 years?

As much as it pains me to say it, they have earned their national tv time. If they lose to a team like I-AA Appalachian State (like up here in Michigan), you would see much less of them on national tv.

Notre Dame on the other hand.....

well, USC's "run" is debatable. It's a vicious cycle that nets them more TV time which nets them more hype and more recruits. I think I just liked it better when we ignored the West Coast.

Ty looked really classy on that sideline...he looked like an Army Sgt or something!
