Back in 2005 in North Carolina for the Garner Roads AAU team. It's good to see him doing so well.

Are you from Raleigh? I've coached/played against Garner Road for years. Good ole Donald Williams coaches for them still. They lost a good many players to the celtics though.

Yeah, I like hanging out with "The Donald". I got to coach against him in an inter-squad scrimmage. That was freakin' awesome.

Ray Felton came by the gym 2 weeks after they won the National Championship. Marvin Williams would help out with some camps.

That kid is an amazing baller. If he lives up to his potential you'll be telling your grandkids you coached him.

Sort of like how I tell my kids that I coached Ron Dayne in the TRBC youth soccer league. Who knew we'd wind up in the same city half a continent away tied to the same club of another type of football?
