Anybody else watching this side show? Chris Berman, Joe Morgan, and Dusty Baker are really beginning to get on my nerves. They even have an announcer in the bay (McCovey Cove) in a kayak with a camera attached his helmet, in hopes of catching a homer in the water.

It's cause they put the two worst announcers (Morgan and Berman) together. Kenny Mayne is great. Dusty Baker isn't bad even.

kenny mayne is one of the funniest guys to ever work for espn, but unfortunately he couldn't even make this home run derby entertaining.

I wish it were BERMAN leaving August 17 instead of DP.

My wife recognized Kenny Mayne from his Dancing with the Stars fame. Now he's out of his kayak and standing in the outfield seats, but he's still wearing his life jacket.

Who ya got? The wife picked Davis because she said he's hot. I took Harper. I already regret that pick.

The first HR derby in a while to actually catch my attention. Berman is still offensively bad at every part of his job but even he couldn't get in the way of the show that Cespedes put on.

I enjoyed the whole event. It was probably the first time I've watched since the Ken Griffey days. I was rooting for Fielder after some mammoth shots but the whole thing was well done. It's still more exciting then the NBA Dunk Contest, in my opinion.
