Can someone please post the previous thread about who's going #1? I believe myself and 1 or 2 others said Oden is going #1. Its not a done deal yet, but it's looking good for the minority

Right...and your wrong...but no need in calling yourself an idiot while making your (wrong) pick

They have a billboard out in Portland that says "Honk once for Oden, Twice for Durant". I'm sure the Blazers have a dude sitting behind it, actually taking a tally.
Or they could know already just be trying to drum up excitement, but they are too stupid for that.
Ohh yeah, and I take Oden.

Right now, Durant is a much better player. But you are drafting as much on potential as immediate impact. With Oden being ionjured this past season, we never really got a good look at how good he can be. KD is going to be awesome in the league for a long time. Having seen a ton of his games he reminds me of Kevin Garnett even thought he tends to play further from the hole. Both players have the potential to transcend the game and take their teams to higher levels immediately upon arrival. They may not have the flash of the LeBron/Carmelo/D-Wade group. But they are going to be better overall players IMHO.
I'd actually love to be in Seattle's position. You don't have to make the tough call and you get somebaody awesome either way. I don't see either player becoming a Sam Bowie under any circumstances.

seattle's got the 2nd pick? I obviously don't pay attention, but I'd love to see a dominant center with my man Ray Allen. Go Durant for #1!

There are numerous rumors speculating that Allen will be traded by Seattle, and possibly for another early round pick.

And I just talked to Rashard the other day and he looks to me to be gone regardless of what happens with Ray and the top pick unless the Sonics are ready to completely break the bank (which they probably couldn't due with your Husky on payroll).

Name drop.
I don't know who's worse, Sly or GMTB/M.

you gotta love being the seattle gm right now. you have by far the easiest decision to ever make in the draft. not even michael jordan could screw this one up if in that position.

Please don't mention Jordan. I'm afraid he's gonna take Wright from UNC at #8.
I say that and I'm a Carolina fan.

Oh I could name drop all day. But I don't think anybody wants that on here. But I was establishing credentials for the comment about where Rashard is heading in the context of the prior post.
(( Anybody buying any of this? ))

Their is news swirling around on ESPN.com that they might trade the pick (or whoever they pick) in a three way trade with the suns and minnesota that would result in the bobcats getting amare stoudemire. I can only pray at this point.

I heard that with Marion but I'll more than take Stoudemire.
The Bobcats have all the money in the world to sign a quality free agent this summer. They've built this team perfect, it's just a matter of taking it to the next level.

The Celtics and Supersonics are discussing a trade that would send Ray Allen to the Celtics for their 5th pick plus Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West.
