The cars did not fit the template for a Car of Tomorrow entry.
It should be noted that the cars
did fit the template for Tomorrow's Car of Tomorrow.

ditto
SMOOTHIE's boys really oughta pay the price for repeated cheating- though, since its Hendrick, I'm sure it will be some frivilous attempt to shut everyone up.
IMHO- "Cheatin' Chad" oughta be gone for the season, sit down the 24's crew chief for 6-8 races, dock both drivers and both owners 200 pts, and couple 100k fine.
pathetic.
Countdown to SMOOTHIE telling me where to stick my opinion in 3, 2, 1... :mgreen:

no use tyring to argue with mental midgets

look into the rules and it is easy to interpret it differently. NASCAR has always been known for tinkering and trying to get that competitive advantage. do you not think this would have been caught in the other COT races had they been doing it?.
The piece in question wasn't one measured by a car template, so the Hendrick crews felt safe in adjusting it. They learned Friday that they were incorrect. (Continued)
with all of this said, if they lose points they do. the 24 will still be in the lead and the 48 may drop a spot. the bigger issue would be losing the crew chiefs. however in hendrick fashion, the backups will be ready and will carry on the torch just fine.

Come on, people! It's NASCAR! Of course they're cheating! They're ALL cheating! The organization was founded by bootleggers for crying out loud! There's a frickin' legacy of cheating! It's like if a professional league were started by BALCO.

Speaking of...
When I was hanging out in Elkin this weekend, they did a spot on the local news about Junior Johnson selling moonshine under his own label now. Clear glass bottle, black label. Yep. White lightnin' from the Johnson family is back.
