The Frankfurt Galaxy is taking on the Hamburg Sea Devils for the NFL Europa championship tomorrow. Several guys on the Frankfurt coaching staff used to call Williams Stadium home.

Head coach Mike Jones is coaching Frankfurt to its 3rd championship appearance in 4 years. In '01, Mike was our WR coach.

Defensive Coordinator Steve Carson was our DC for 3 years from 2003-2005.

Former Flames QB and, later, QB coach Biff Parson is coaching the Frankfurt QB's.

Also, you Hokie guys may note that ex-Tech great Cornell Brown is a coach on the Frankfurt staff as well.

FRANKFURT, GERMANY - The sidelines at World Bowl XV, the championship game of NFL Europa, might resemble a Liberty University coaches convention today when the hometown Frankfurt Galaxy takes on the Hamburg Sea Devils.
Former Liberty quarterbacks coach Mike Jones will orchestrate the proceedings for the Galaxy, assisted by his defensive coordinator Steve Carson, who also held that position in Lynchburg for three seasons. Beside them will be the Flames' starting quarterback between 1998 and 2001 Biff Parsons, who now coaches the Galaxy signal callers. Completing the local connection is the Galaxy's defensive line coach Cornell Brown, the former Super Bowl winner with the Baltimore Ravens, who played football at E.C. Glass and Virginia Tech.
