A Sea Of Red

Has anyone ever seen this? They have AstroTurf for the infield and grass in the outfield.

Been that way for quite a few years...not impressed.

JMU has had that set-up since the 90's...

That's what the Memphis Chicks stadium had when Bo Jackson was there: the hottest, most humid baseball game I ever attended was there in Memphis when I was going to Ole Miss in the late 1980s--hot as...hades!

I think Texas (Longhorns) has an astroturf for a baseball field.

I'm betting the person in their AD's office responsible for writing out the checks to pay for groundskeeping/maintenance

Yea, since mowing an infield takes sooooo long.

Oh yea, it's incredibly hard to drag an infield. Takes forever.
