Tennessee Temple University is pleased to announce that Patrick O'Grady has accepted the Head Men's Basketball position. Coach O'Grady comes to Temple via Central Florida, where he has coached the previous seven years. As head coach of Southland High for the last four years, he led the Christian school to two district championships in its public-school league and state tournament appearances the last two years... "
It is a basketball coach's dream to be here at Tennessee Temple," says O'Grady. "They have won seven National Championships and are known as a winning program...Since my first conversations with Dr. Lovett and Don Morris, I have really felt that the Lord was opening the door here at TTU."
"He was so impressive in his interview and his dealings with the hiring committee," Lovett said. "His experiences with a solid strength program and building booster and community relationships are great assets. It is no secret that Tennessee Temple Basketball has a strong winning tradition, and the university is excited about building on that tradition under Coach O'Grady."
