A Sea Of Red

This should lead up to an interesting boiling point between Kobe and the Lakers. Who could the Lakers possibly trade Kobe Bryant for and get even 1/2 of the talent back? Bryant is probably my least favorite player in the NBA but he's probably the most talented. Let the speculation begin.

I'm so tired of ESPN all up Kobe's &%*.

The ironic thing is all of Kobe's open demands have just dropped the Lakers' leverage so much that they now probably can't make a deal.

now kobe says he wants to stay. as a laker fan, i really cannot stand kobe and hope he leaves, but as sly said, what kind of deals can you do? i really doubt they can get garnett, and the jason kidd deal is not gonna happen, so not unless jerry west comes back i cannot see mitch kupchak doing anything significant, though kobe should have their attention now.

Kobe Bryant has to have the spot light on him at all times. He needs this attention. I cant stand him from his fake MJ fist pumps to his antics on the floor. He doesnt know what he wants, he's just embarrassed he chased out his best chance at winning a NBA title again. He could have had 2-3 more by now!

As an old Laker fan, I hope they trade Kobe. Yes he scores a lot of points, but his shooting percentage is pretty low and he is so condesending to his teammates, I can't imagine it has anything but a very negative impact on the entire team. I think it is time for Jerry Buss to live up to his promise to Kobe (who knows the truth about the promise?), and upgrade the team right away. The best way to do this would trade Kobe the cry baby. Can you imagine someone making $20 mil a year ,playing a frigging game complaining?

Chris Broussard from ESPN.com told me that when we had him on the show last night and that was what he was saying on Mike & Mike this morning....

i really do not think that trade would make the lakers that much better. maybe up to a 5 seed?

I don't know if it would even do that....Jermaine is injury prone and if goes down what do they really have?? They would have to add much more then just him

It would give them an inside/outside presence...They need to go grab a PG badly!!!!!!
