I'm glad it's a substantial donation. I get tired of seeing players or teams give away like $5,000 just to use it as publicity. For what the fund is used for this is a substantial donation. The Yankees are to be commended.

As much as I loathe the Yankees (on the same level with UVA and UofMiami), I am glad to see them make this contribution. Good move that shows great class.

we all know you hate UVA and miami. the issue is the yankees doing a solid thing and making a contribution and as tally said should be commended.

I did commend them...I was just also stating that I didn't like them.

Should be fun to watch. I personally HATE the Yankees, but kinda hard to hate them too much when they go and do something like this and totally (almost) redeem themselves...
