did anyone happen to be watching the duke/cornell lacrosse game on ESPN2? duke scored with 3 seconds left to break the 11-11 tie, and win.
the blue devils now move on to play johns hopkins in the championship game on monday.

That's awesome...last I heard Duke was up 9-3. If there is any justice in this world, Duke will win the title.

wow, they let that kind of lead slip?! i just caught the last little bit of the game.
i'd love to see the guys win. it'd be good for them.

It's a great finals for me.
I'm a Baltimore boy so JH is home... but I have a sympathetic place in my heart for the Duke kids. I watched most of the Duke game today. I turned it off when Duke was up 9-3. Crazy ending.
I'm looking forward to the final on Monday at 1

well, i was raised to love the blue devils, so of course i'll be pulling for them. too bad i'll be working monday...it's unlikely i'll get to see the game.

i love lacrosse! it is really fitting that duke is in the finals after all that has happened to them. hopkins will be a formidable opponent, and it should be a great game!

a very good match by both teams. i think coaching won this for hopkins. dave pietramala is a heckuva coach, and after seeing a feature on the hopkins team on comcast, the blue jays are probably the most match prepared team in D1 lacrosse.
