The Detroit Shock, Katie Feenstra's new team and defending WNBA champs, are on ABC this afternoon at 3:30. I'm interested to see how her game develops under Bill Laimbeer, the first coach she's ever had to literally look up to. They must think a lot of her potential because they traded Ruth Riley to get her.

playing well, props from the color commentator about her potential as a dominant force.

Also mentioned that she's a Liberty alum and led the NCAA in scoring 2 yrs while here.

great to see her doing well.

6'8, 240. Wow. Can she come back and suit up for the men's team?

Katie is working hard and has had great position inside several times, but she's been the victim of some poor passes. 7 points and 6 boards so far. She is seeing more minutes than expected because the starter, Cara Braxton is in foul trouble.

Bill Lambiere sp? was not happy with some of those poor passes to Katie. He had on a mike and he let it be known to Plenette Pierson about the poor pass.
