Practice Field...if anyone has ANY IDEA"S on a PRACTICE FIELD..we would greatly appreciate it...we had been practicing behind Hancock on the old football practice field twice a week but I have been told that LU Soccer needs the field..Soccer btw doesnt have anyone doing anything during the summer..but if is their field now that LU football is building a new one...We are a non-profit minor league team that upholds christian values while doing a ton of community service here in Lynchburg..most of our coaches are former LU athletes or alumni and none get paid..23 of our current players are LU students...several of our former players where given the chance to continue to play football after their LU career's where over and are now getting paid to play in various pro leagues when they had contemplated in giving up on the sport of football..Our coaches and staff work hard to promote these young men and to help them lead productive and fruitfull lives..so when doors are closed in our face it hurts not only one young man but many..Several players from last years LU team have signed on and had been practicing with us and we believe these young men have a chance of making it in pro football...Darnell Edwards,Don McWhorter,EL Estes ..So if anyone had any suggestions please feel free to voice them also most importantly Pray for us..Thank you Va Cardinals Staff

The old LCA fields down by the Scaremare house. LCA football used them for many years and I'd imagine LU still owns the property. It's at about exit 2 or 3 on 29.

I appreciate these guys having a chance to play. My cousin plays for the Storm.

Unfortunately, soccer needs the grass to have time to grow back before they hit it in August. It's nothing personal. Football used to have to run off the kids playing pickup touch football during the summer.
