From the article "Aaron doesn't plan to celebrate if Bonds breaks record"...
"I don't talk to anybody, really, and I've never talked to Barry, outside of that commercial we did together a few years ago, and a few other short times," Aaron was quoted as saying. "I'm 72 years old, and I'm not hopping on a plane and flying all the way to San Francisco for anybody."

What a grump. I love it.

he should have also said something to the effect of "his head is big enough without me showing up to watch him" It works on a few levels.

"Shrinking the balls helped Barry hit farther."

For some reason I think Bonds' record will be thrown out soon after he retires as soon as the official truth about the steroids comes out

I hope so, I hate that he will probably break the record. It just belittles what Hank did.

I know I am bad for saying this... I have hated Bonds for a while... I hope he is 1 HR away and then gets a career ending injury
