kentucky is so hilarious. i really do not think this is a huge upgrade. make no mistake what gillispie has done at A&M is quite impressive, but somehow i do not think this will be a long-term marriage. UK= bama football....unrealistic expectations. from espn.com

Sorry, Zack. Its back to the cellar for the Ags. Now the fun will begin chasing all of Billy Clyde's top recruits including DeAndre Jordan. My guess is when Durant declares for the draft then DeAndre slides over to Austin.

I thought Gillespie would stay put. Guess I was wrong.

He has made it clear to everyone around him he was dying for the UK position. That's why he hadn't signed the much hyped contract extension.

It will be interesting to see how Billy Clyde recruits outside of Texas. He's never been a head coach beyond the borders of the Lone Star State where he has a very strong relationship with high school coaches (cultivated over a long period of time).

The Ags won't release Jordan to any b12 school or UK...it just won't happen. I'm still convinced if t.u. had a decent coach they could win with the talent, but the coach holds them back...same for football (unfortunately that's the same for the ags)
