A Sea Of Red

The Mets beat the Cards yesterday, and my beloved Orioles are playing tonight on TV before the NCAA championship.

This is my favorite day of the year, better than my birthday: championship basketball AND the O's opening day game-- both televised! Any O's fans out there?

Your owner needs to take a dive in the Balt Harbor for an hour but only with 30 minutes worth of air supply

I grew up in Baltimore... Definitely an O's fan... I grew up going to games in Memorial stadium in the left field cheap seats... we used to chant "Eddie, Eddie, Your mama's watchin' you!" back when Eddie Murray was a big deal... We've been a mediocre team for far too long... Peter needs to upgrade or sell the team to someone who's willing to make it happen.

O-R-I-O-L-E-S ORIOLES!!! This is the best day of the year. baseball is back. I grew up going to lots of games at Memorial Stadium, then Camden Yards. Now, I am thrilled that we have 2 teams here. This time of year, a upper deck seat, media guide, scorebook, a nice cold refershing soda and radio is a great way to spend a summer's night.

Three Oriole fans and NOT one mention of CRAB CAKES or OLD BAY seasoning?! There's more to opening day than just baseball, you know.

And I haven't even mentioned Boog's BBQ!

Boogs is amazing... Crab cakes are a must! I traveled up to Baltimore last week for a viewing (sadly enough). I ended up coming into downtown via 83 south... As the skyline opened up I had a sense of "home". I enjoy VaBeach but man I love the city.

I love going to Baltimore espically when the Red Sox play there...It's like a home game, Red Sox nation just takes over the town!!!!

Yeah, being a die hard O's fan, I can't bring myself to go to a yankee or red sox game. It's fenway and yankee stadium south.
